Obituary: Doris C. Beyer, 93

Doris C. Beyer, 93, of Freehold Township, died on Sunday, Jan. 15, at Applewood Estates in Freehold. Born in Newark, Beyer resided in Bloomfield and Whiting before moving to Freehold Township eight years ago. She was an executive secretary for Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley before retiring.

Beyer was predeceased by her husband, Walter “Dick” Beyer, in 1999, and her sister, Evelyn. She is survived by her two nephews, Clem Hergenhan and his wife, Nancy and Bill Hergenhan and his wife, Cindy; and many great nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to visit today, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, at 11a.m. at the Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
