Obituary: Frances Rosamilia, 94

Frances Rosamilia, of Howell Township, was a seamstress, homemaker and mother of three.

Frances Rosamilia, 94, of Howell Township, died Friday, Sept. 30 at home.  Rosamilia was born in Oakfield, NY and had lived in Hazlet and Toms River before moving to Howell in 2005.  She was a homemaker and had worked as a seamstress for ILGWU in Manhattan until 1966. Rosamilia loved to dance and was a long time bowler at the Airport Plaza Lanes in Hazlet. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Farmingdale.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert G., in 2009 and a sister, Jay Orrico, in 2008.  She is survived by a son, Richard Rosamilia and his wife, Kim, of Erwinna, PA; two daughters, Barbara Rosamilia, of Howell, and Carol Morton and her husband, Michael, of Howell; five grandchildren, Joseph, Lisa, Christopher, Dana and Megan; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Salvatore Cammarata, of Durham, NC, and Anthony Cammarata, of Caldwell, and a sister Josephine Guy, of McCungie, PA.

Visiting hours will be held at the , 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), in Freehold Township on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Rite of Committal on Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by her 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, in Farmingdale.  Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, in Lodi.
