Obituary: LeRoy T. LaBarrie, 72

LeRoy T. LaBarrie, 72, of Freehold, died Saturday, Nov. 10 at home. He was born in New York City and had resided in Jackson Township before moving to Freehold 45 years ago.

LaBarrie was a supervisor for General Motors, Linden where he was employed for 40 years before his retirement in 2002. LaBarrie was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and regularly attended Freehold Borough Council meetings.

LaBarrie was predeceased by a daughter, Patty L. LaBarrie in 1985; a brother, William L. LaBarrie Jr., in 2008; a sister, Catherine Vogel in 2011; and a nephew, Eric Vogel in 2002. He is survived by a granddaughter, Theressa L. LaBarrie; three nieces, Sharon Vogel, Whiting, Donna Casado, Forked River and Lisa Deaton, Kentucky; a nephew, Daniel Vogel Jr., Beachwood, and life partner, Margaret Piskin.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
