Obituary: Mary J. Imbemba, 90

Imbemba was a Freehold resident for 25 years.

Mary J. Imbemba, 90, of Freehold, died on Wednesday, June 6 at . 

Mary was born in New York City, NY, was raised in East Harlem, and had lived in Bergenfield before settling to Surrey Downs in Freehold in 1987.

She was a homemaker but also worked as a clerk for Parents Magazine, Englewood. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Gabriel R. Imbemba; three sons, Eugene J. Imbemba and his wife, Patricia of Belford, Thomas Imbemba of Vienna, Virginia, and Gabriel A. Imbemba and his wife, Diane of Marlboro; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Crisafulli of Bergenfield and a sister, Elizabeth DiBella of Matawan. 

Visiting at the on Sunday, June 10 from 12-4:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends may gather at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. for the procession to for her 10:00 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment to follow in Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Holmdel, NJ.
