Obituary: Mary V. Golom, 83

Golom worked in the food department of the CentraState Medical Center and was a member of the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Mary V. Golom, 83, of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Golom was born in Keansburg and had lived in Freehold before moving to Howell Township in 1946. She worked in the food department at for 18 years before retiring in 1996. Golom was a member of the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W., Post 9691, Howell. She was a former treasurer of the Howell Chapter of Deborah and volunteered at CentraState Medical Center in her retirement. Golom was a Parishioner of , Freehold Twp.

Golom was predeceased by a great grandson, Branson Snyder. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, David S. Golom of Howell Township; a daughter, Victoria Davison and her husband, John of Howell; three sons, David Golom and his wife, Sharon, Farmingdale, Richard and his wife, Lauree of Brick, and Kevin Golom of Howell,; two sisters, Josephine Madowsky of Union City and Eleanor Poletti and her husband, Joseph of Whiting; a brother, Albert Gabumowicz of Hazlet; two grandchildren, Dillon Golom of Brick and Dawn Marie Snyder of PA; and two great grandchildren, Madison and Justin Snyder.

Visiting will be at the , on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011.
