Obituary: Peter Charles Cutolo, 90

Cutolo was a World War II veteran as a General Organizer for local 144.

Peter Charles Cutolo, 90, of Freehold Township, New Jersey died on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at his home. Cutolo was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and Lauderhill, Florida before returning to New Jersey in 2008. He retired as General Organizer for Local 144, a large union serving New York City hotel, hospital and nursing home employees. Peter was a U.S. veteran who served proudly during World War II.

Cutolo was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Kathryn DiSabato Cutolo in 2003; his eldest daughter, Lynn Cutolo in 2007; his brother Carmine Cutolo; and three sisters, Irene Conte, Marion Watkins and Lee DiNapoli. Cutolo is survived by his daughter, Karen Annese and her husband, Anthony of Millstone Township and his three grandchildren, Jordan, Jake and Steven. 

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068 on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Peter’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
