Obituary: Peter Fuentes, 67

Peter Fuentes, 67, of Freehold Township, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at , Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Freehold for the past 50 years. Fuentes worked in the produce department of ShopRite Supermarket, Jackson, for the past five years and before that was employed by , Freehold, in the shipping department for 32 years.

Fuentes was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Michael Pisano. He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Manuel Fuentes and Patricia Leahy of Brick, and Raymond and Cynthia Fuentes of Lakewood; his three sisters and brothers-in-law, Elissa Pisano of Toms River, Theresa and Valiant Manz of Freehold, and Anna and Robert Waddy of Brick; and his companion, Joyce Greenberg.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, Jan. 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the , 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Interment will follow at , Freehold. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the family.
