Obituary: Rosemary (Potter) Cunningham, 96

Rosemary (Potter) Cunningham, 96, died peacefully on April 5, 2012. 

She was a resident of and predeceased by husbands, Thomas “Tucker” A. Potter, Jr. in 1981, and Frederick Cunningham in 1998, and dear brother Anthony Gallen.   

Cunningham is survived by her loving daughters, Marylou Norman and husband Vincent Norman and Kathleen Morrison and husband Joseph Morrison, all of Freehold. Her cherished grandchildren Michael Tamulevicus of Englishtown, Dr. Amy Tamulevicus of Red Bank, Mary Williams and her husband Kevin Williams of Texas, and David Morrison and his wife Kimberly Morrison of Jackson. Her seven adorable great-grandchildren: Taylor, Madison, and Hunter Williams of Texas and Eileen, Christina, Brian, and Valerie Morrison of Jackson.

She was also predeceased by her loyal, life-long friend, Buena Larson.

Cunningham was a faithful communicant of , an aide for CCD classes, dedicated member of the Catholic Daughters, the Applewood Singers, St. Rose of Lima PTA, and the BPOE. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful friend.

She was loved dearly and will be missed by all those whose hearts and souls she touched. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at , 47 East Main Street, Freehold.  A Funeral Liturgy  will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday, 4/11, at 10 p.m., followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the American Foundation for Children with Aids would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
