Yvonne Kelsey Cook, 74, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Sunnyside Manor in Wall, New Jersey after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a life long resident of Freehold and a communicant of and an original member of its . Yvonne was formerly employed for the Freehold Regional High School District for 33 years. Her passion was her family.
Cook was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Kelsey and her siblings, James, Raymond, Frank, Mary, William, and Elizabeth. Surviving are her three sons and daughter in laws, Thomas and Kim, Gregory and Barbara, Stephen and Lisa Cook; two daughters and son in laws, Lorraine and William Coyne, Betsy and Paul Peduto; two brothers, Eugene and Robert; four sisters, Lorraine Buble, Dorothy Higley, Joan Kelsey, Margaret Higley; eleven grand children, Thomas Jr., Ryan, Todd, Andrew, and Grace Cook, Katherine, Kyle, and Tess Coyne, Garrett, Kelsey, and Matthew Peduto. Yvonne is also survived by her nieces and nephews and her dear friend Will Ciliberto who took wonderful care of her in her final years.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the in Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Internment will follow at , Freehold.
