Ronald DeStephano, Italian-American Club Member and Business Owner, Dies at 67

The Freehold Township resident was a parishioner at St. Robert's.

Ronald DeStephano, 67, of Freehold Township died on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center. Ronald was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Long Island before moving to Freehold Township over 20 years ago. He was a self-employed mechanic and the owner of Scrubber Repair Technology, Rahway. Ronald attended St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. He was a member of the Italian-American Club at the Riviera Community.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Josephine DeStephano of Freehold Township; a son, Ronald A. DeStephano of Freehold Township; two daughters, Antoinette Kontos of Holtsville, NY and Christine Katz of Howell; and six grandchildren, Anthony, Alex, Andrew, Sophia, Nicholas and Lucas.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, April 20, 2013 and Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 9 a.m. for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10 a.m. funeral Mass.
