William Kearns, Vice President of Facilities for Silver Line Building Products, Dies at 63

Services for Kearns will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

William J. “Bill” Kearns, Sr., 63, of Freehold Township died at home on Sunday, Feb. 10.

Kearns was born in Red Bank and had lived in Marlboro and Howell before moving to Freehold Township in 2009. He was the Vice President of Facilities for Silver Line Building Products, now Anderson Windows in North Brunswick. Kearns was a 1972 graduate of the Newark College of Engineering (NJIT) where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Kearns was a family oriented man, enjoying golf on Sunday morning with his sons and quiet time with his grandchildren.

Kearns was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Kearns. He is survived by his wife, Dian Kearns of Freehold Township; three sons, William “Billy” Kearns, Jr. and his wife, LuzDary of Rockwell, TX, James Kearns and his wife, Carolyn ”Carrie” of Jackson and Michael Kearns and his wife, Erica of Howell; one daughter, Tiffany Kearns of Howell; seven and a half grandchildren; his father, John “Jack” Kearns of Jackson; a brother, John Kearns and his wife, Sharon of Bath, PA; a sister, Judy O’Donnell and her husband, James of Jackson; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Eugene.

Visiting will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be private in Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
