Freehold Boro High School Field Hockey wins Group 4 Central Title over Freehold Township

Junior goalkeeper, Alyson LeBlanc and the defense of the Freehold Boro High School field hockey team held Freehold Township to a shutout in yesterday's NJSIAA Group 4 Central Title game held at Freehold Boro. 

Seniors Lauren Bock and Katie Luchino both scored along with freshman Tori Tiefenthaler to lead the Boro to a 3-0 victory in the match up. Goalkeeper Alyson LeBlanc recorded two saves to accomplish the shutout.

The girls celebrated with a parade through downtown Freehold, followed by a pizza party at San Marzano. 


Freehold Boro will play Eastern today at 6:00pm in the Group 4 Semi-finals for the state Group 4 championship.
