FTEF raises over $10,000 at iPlay America

The Freehold Township Education Foundation (FTEF) hosted the second annual fundraiser event at iPlay America to raise funds for technology-based teaching tools in Freehold Township pre-K, elementary and middle schools on Monday, February 24. The event helped raise approximately $10,100, which will be split 80% to the FTEF (just under $8,100) and 20% to our PTOs (just over $2,000).  The family fun night event was attended by 676 pre-K through 8th grade school students and teachers from Freehold Township School District.  The winner of the trophy for the greatest ratio of attendance out of total roster is Laura Donovan Elementary School, with 136 or 28.1% attendees. Altogether, exactly one-sixth, or 16.7%, of the total school district student population attended the event.

The FTEF and iPlay fundraiser event is part of the FTEF $250,000 fundraising program called “Connect Us!” and is the second annual fundraiser event held in the indoor park.  The funds raised by the Connect Us! Campaign will ensure that every classroom in the Freehold Township School District is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that will provide interactive learning opportunities for all of our pre-K, elementary and middle school children.  Freehold Township Education Foundation is a community-based, all-volunteer, nonprofit foundation created to fund innovative programs for Freehold Township district schools.
