Area Pair Indicted On Weapons Charges
Freehold man and Howell woman involved with sale of stolen guns, indictment says
A Freehold man and a Howell woman were indicted Tuesday on a host of weapons charges stemming from a February arrest, according to an indictment.
Evan A. Franco, 21, of Freehold and Arielle A. Lingard, 21, of Howell, were indicted Tuesday in Monmouth County Superior Court in a 5-count indictment stemming from a February 7 arrest for weapons possession, according to the indictment.
The indictment charges Franco of stealing guns from a Howell address and charges both with selling the pair of semi-automatic handguns in Howell and Freehold, according to the indictment.

Franco was charged with theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful sale of a firearm and conspiracy. He has an additional charge because he is barred by a previous conviction from having a weapon, according tot he indictment.
Lingard is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful sale of a firearm and conspiracy, according to the indictment.

Franco is jailed at the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, on $50,000 bail. Lingard is jailed on $14,500 bail, according to jail records.
