Authorities have determined that Walker and the two victims earlier Thursday met in Neptune Township and traveled to Asbury Park where they had a verbal argument while standing outside of a car, the release says.

During the argument, Walker drew a gun and shot the two men, according to authorities. Walker later turned himself in at the Freehold Borough Police Department. Investigators have concluded that the incident is not gang-related, the release says.

The first degree murder charge carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison, along with a 20 year maximum sentence for the attempted murder charge. The weapons charges carry a maximum of 10 years, according to the release.
