Man Charged with Threatening Freehold Township Police Officer

Freehold Borough man allegedly threatened an officer while he was being arrested.

A Freehold Borough man faces one charge of making a terrorist threat after he allegedly threatened a Officer while he was being arrested, according to court documents.

Calvin Fair, 39, of Conover Street in Freehold Borough, allegedly threatened a Township Patrolman while being placed under arrest on Saturday, July 7. The arrest warrant does not indicate what Fair was initially being placed under arrest for and Freehold Township police officials did not return calls asking for comment.

The complaint warrant states that while Fair was being arrested he threatened the officer by saying “When I get out on Monday, I will be up and in your face, you will see.”

According to the complaint warrant, there was probable cause to issue the warrant due to Fair’s prior criminal history for violent crimes. Freehold Township Patrolman Andrew Galaydick III was the arresting officer.

Fair has been remanded to the on $10,000.
