Man Charged with Threatening Freehold Township Police Officer

Freehold Borough man allegedly threatened an officer while he was being arrested.

A Freehold Borough man faces one charge of making a terrorist threat after he allegedly threatened a Officer while he was being arrested, according to court documents.

Calvin Fair, 39, of Conover Street in Freehold Borough, allegedly threatened a Township Patrolman while being placed under arrest on Saturday, July 7. The arrest warrant does not indicate what Fair was initially being placed under arrest for and Freehold Township police officials did not return calls asking for comment.

The complaint warrant states that while Fair was being arrested he threatened the officer by saying “When I get out on Monday, I will be up and in your face, you will see.”

According to the complaint warrant, there was probable cause to issue the warrant due to Fair’s prior criminal history for violent crimes. Freehold Township Patrolman Andrew Galaydick III was the arresting officer.

Fair has been remanded to the on $10,000.

GOOD JOB MAKE HIS LIFE MISERABLE NO BODY THREATENS A COP EVER

What a jackass that cop must be. If I understand street lingo correctly, being "in your face" is not a terroristic threat. I have jury duty coming up and, if I'm on that jury, that guy is not guilty in my book.

He just wanted to kiss the officer to thank him for straightening out his life. I'm with Frank, "in your face" is hardly a terroristic threat.

I am so glad Leslie and Frank know what the accused meant without knowing the arrested subject. They must have mystical powers. While your home under your blanket with the doors locked this officer is out on the streets protecting you and yours.

Next time dont get arrested and you'll never be in a position to threaten a police officer.

Are you kidding? Tell you what...the next time you do something stupid, and that cop is the one stopping you, you can tell him to his face what you think of him. What that man said is a threat. Now...was the man sober? Well that is another story. Still, it was a threat and should be taken as one.
