Cell Phone Found at Vehicle Burglary

Police say a cell phone not belonging to the car's owner was found in a burglarized car on Club Place.

A car parked on a Freehold Borough street was ransacked and dented in early December, according to police.

Police say the car parked on Club Place was allegedly entered, ransacked, and damaged between the hours of 11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 and 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11. The damage to the car includes dents to the exterior.

was called the scene. While going through the car, a cell phone was discovered belonging to a Perth Amboy resident.

According to police, no one has been picked up for the incident but charges could include burglary and criminal mischief.
