Colts Neck Resident Charged With Stealing Copper Pipes in Borough

Damage estimated at $4,000.

A Colts Neck resident faces a variety of charges after allegedly going across the border in Freehold Borough last week and attempting to leave with some items that did not belong to him.

Shaun Arban, 33, has been charged with weapons possession after allegedly having knives in a sheath that were hidden in a jacket pocket. He is also charged with removing copper pipes from an air conditioning/heating system on Bannard Street.

According to court documents, Arban is also facing charges for allegedly taking a 50-foot section of copper pipe from the location. The cost to repair the damage by Arban is valued at $4,000.
