Eatontown Woman Charged With Stealing Groceries

Woman left with items from Freehold Township Stop & Shop

An Eatontown woman was arrested and charged Monday with shoplifting from Freehold Township stores and receiving stolen property, according to arrest warrants.

Cheryl R. Jackson, 44, was arrested and charged on Monday with shoplifting and receiving stolen property in connection with separate incidents on May 10, according to the arrest warrents. 

Jackson was charged with shoplifting when she left a Freehold Township Stop & Shop with $342.57 in assorted groceries and other items. She was also charged with receiving stolen property when she was found with $427.91 in groceries and other items that she knew, or should have known, were stolen from a Freehold Township Shop-Rite, the warrants say.
