Fake Names Don’t Fool the FTPD

According to complaint warrants, the Freehold Township police arrested two people on May 10 who allegedly tried to hide their identity.

Two people tried to fool when they allegedly gave a fake name upon arrest.

Billy Day, 40, of Asbury Park is charged with hindering apprehension and theft. Day allegedly was found in possession of over $600 worth of stolen clothing from Old Navy, American Eagle, H&M, Champs and UNK Store.

When the Freehold Township police asked him for his name upon arrest, he said his name was Billy Walker.

Robyn Kelly, 32, of Freehold is also charged with hindering apprehension and receiving stolen property. Freehold Township police allegedly found Kelly in possession of a 2005 Dodge Neon that was stolen from a Freehold Boro residence on May 9.

When the police asked for her name, Kelly allegedly said her name was Monica Shuler.

Both Day and Kelly will appear in court on May 15 at 8:00 a.m.
