Freehold Borough and Township Police Charge Woman with Heroin Possession

A Freehold woman was charged with 19 drug related charges between July 24 and Aug. 17.

A Freehold resident faces 19 drug related charges from summer 2012.

Freehold Township and Freehold Borough Police arrested Teicha McIver, 37, of McDermott Street, after she was found in possession of heroin in both towns.

According to McIver’s complaint warrant, she was charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of the controlled dangerous substance on July 24 and July 26 in Freehold Township.

Freehold Township Police also charged McIver with possession, intent to distribute and distribution of the controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of Biotechnology High School and within 500 feet of East Freehold Park.

In addition, McIver faces one charge of endangering the welfare of a child after she allegedly distributed heroin while in the presence of a child.

In Freehold Borough, McIver was charged on Aug. 8 with possession, intent to distribute, and distribution of heroin. McIver also allegedly distrbuted heroin while in the presence of a child; she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child on Aug. 17 for the alleged action.

Mciver has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $175,000 bail.
