Resident also faces two additional charges.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Freehold Borough man on three charges of drug possession, criminal trespassing, and obstructing the administration of law, following a March incident.

According to the indictment, Michael D. Howley, 28, of Koenig Lane, allegedly entered a Freehold Borough structure that he did not have permission to access while in possession of heroin. The indictment further explains that Howley attempted to obstruct the detection of his crimes by purposefully impairing or preventing a public servant from lawfully performing their duties when he was discovered.

The indictment did not state how Howley obstructed the law once he was discovered. The alleged actions took place on March 14.
