Freehold Borough Police Blotter: Man Robbed, Stabbed at Bus Station

Arrests and incidents in Freehold Borough from Feb. 21 to Feb. 28.

The Freehold Borough Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents for the municipality for Monday, Feb. 21 through Monday, Feb. 28.

  • Brittany Guarini, 22, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Sgt. Michael Sweetman stopped Guarini’s vehicle on Main Street at 5 a.m. after he observed she was driving on three tires, with the fourth tire on the rim. Sweetman detected the smell of alcohol on Guarini’s breath. She was processed and released.
  • On Wed., Feb. 23, a group of unknown men beat and stabbed a 40-year-old Hispanic male at the Freehold Bus Station at 3 a.m. The men stole money and a bag valued at $170, police said. The victim was taken to CentraState Medical Center but not admitted. Patrolman Keith Bailey was the reporting officer and Det. John Reiff is investigating the case.
  • On Saturday, Feb. 26 between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., an unknown suspect entered an apartment on Monmouth Avenue through a rear window and stole $2,500 worth of items. Patrolman Keith Bailey took the report.
  • Between Friday, Feb. 25 and Monday, Feb. 25, an unknown person entered the yard of Durham School Services on Park Avenue and took tires values at $1,980. Patrolman Peter Romanski took the report.
