Freehold Man Charged with Allegedly Trying to Flush Drugs

NJ State Police made the arrest during a search warrant at the borough home.

The NJ State Police arrested a Freehold man when they allegedly found drugs and paraphernalia in his home during a search warrant.

Elijah Roach, 22, of Freehold, was arrested on Monday when he allegedly tried to get rid of drugs he intended to sell while police were searching his home.

He is charged with the following crimes: possession of over 5 ounces of prescription legend drugs; possession of marijuana; possession of narcotic paraphernalia; aiding another person with the intent to sell drugs; intent to distribute; and attempting to dispose of drugs during the search.

Roach’s bail is set at $100,000. He is scheduled to appear in court.
