Freehold Man Charged with Sexual Assault
The man charged will have his first court appearance on Monday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.
A local man has been accused of sexually assaulting someone while in Freehold Borough.
Freehold Borough Police arrested Leonard Mincey Jr., 42, of South Street, after he allegedly sexually assaulted someone on Sunday, Dec. 9. According to Mincey’s complaint warrant, the person he sexually assaulted was incapable of understanding the nature of the conduct. The complaint warrant further explained that Mincey knew that the person was incapable of providing consent.
Mincey has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $100,000 bail.
