Freehold Man Faces Heroin Dealing Charges in Keansburg

The charges include distributing illegal drugs near the Henry Hudson Trail and a middle school.

Keansburg Police have arrested a Freehold man and charged him with trying to sell heroin near the Henry Hudson Trail and the McGrath Towers, which is also within 1,000 feet of the Joseph R. Bolger Middle School. 

Jamie Papadelias, 26, an Applewood Drive apartment dweller, was heard saying he was going to sell two bags of heroin to another, according to police.

Police said Papadelias was in possession of 37 wax folded baggies stamped with the logo "Total Control" on them with suspected heroin doses inside and four 8 mg/2mg suboxone, a pain killer. 

He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, intent to distribute the illegal drug, manufacture or distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of the drug so close to a public park and public school. 

Papadelias is currently being held at the county jail on $35,000 bail.  He is due to make a first appearance in Superior Court on April 17.
