Freehold Police Looking For Purse Thief

Surveillance footage shows man leaving downtown law office with stolen pink bag.

are looking for a man who allegedly stole a pink pocket book from a law office on Main St. Monday morning.

According to Patrolman Sean Healey, police responded to after the victim called 911 to report the incident around 10 a.m.

“She said she was outside the building and when she came back to her cubicle on the second floor, she noticed the desk drawer was open where the purse belonged,” explained Healey.

According to Healey, the victim started screaming about her missing purse. “One of her co-workers said they saw a man with a pink bag leaving the building so that is how they knew it had been stolen,” he explained.

Police released photos from surveillance footage that show a man matching the description carrying a pink pocket book leaving the area (see above).

The man pictured is wanted for burglary and theft. Anyone with information about this incident are asked to contact Ptl. Sean Healey at 732 462-1234.
