Freehold Resident Charged With Armed Robbery

Tionne Henderson jailed on nearly $200,000 bail, jail records say.

A Freehold Township resident was among a pair indicted last week on armed robbery charges, according to court documents.

Tionne Henderson, 24, of Ford Avenue, is charged with two counts of first degree armed robbery, stemming from two separate Ocean Township incidents in January, according to the seven-count indictment.

Timothy Huggins, also 24, of Ocean, is also named in the indictment, charged with the same offenses.

Prosecutors say Henderson and Huggins used a knife on separate occasions to threaten two people during the commission of two thefts, according to the indictment. The first robbery took place on Jan. 19 and the second just days later, on Jan. 22. Both were in Ocean Township, the indictment says.

Henderson and Huggins were each charged with two counts of armed robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. They were each also charged with a single count of terroristic threats, according to the indictment.

Henderson is listed as a prisoner at the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, with a total bail amount of $192,500, according to jail records.

Huggins is also a prisoner. His bail is set at $200,000, jail records say.
