Freehold Resident Indicted on Burglary, Theft Charges

Charges stem from incident at Pepi's Deli in October of 2013.

A Monmouth County Grand Jury recently handed up an indictment charging a Freehold resident with burglarizing a local business.

Christopher K. Allgood, 41, was charged with third degree burglary. On or about October 23, 2013 he is alleged to have entered Pepi’s Deli without permission and with “the purpose to commit an offense.”

Allgood is also charged with one count of fourth degree theft of movable property for allegedly attempting to take more than $200 worth of food, cigars and money from the deli at that time.
