Freehold Resident Indicted on Drug Charges
Charges include possession and distribution.
A Freehold resident faces a six count indictment from a Monmouth County Grand Jury for incidents in the township between February and March.
Thomas Trucks, 29 of Stonehurst Boulevard was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance when he was found on or about February 27 to have fentanyl in his possession. He was also indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute for the fentanyl possession.
Trucks was also charged with third degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance for allegedly selling the fentanyl to an undercover detective from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

In addition to those charges Trucks also faces a second count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to the indictment, on or about March 20 Trucks was found to be in possession of oxycodone. He also faces a count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance for the oxycodone and third degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance for attempting to sell it to the undercover detective.
