Freehold Resident Killed in Early Morning Crash

Medical condition believed to be responsible for the accident.

A Freehold Resident was killed early Thursday morning when his car went off the road and overturned according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

According to the report the 66-year-old man was driving on Elton Adelphia Road near Wellesley Way at around 2:30 a.m. when the accident happened. The driver reportedly suffered a “medical-related,” incident prior to the accident and the victim is not being identified at this time, according to the report.

The accident is being investigated by Officer Patrick Fallon.
