Freehold Township Police Blotter, Feb. 8-15

Arrests and incidents reported by the Freehold Township Police Department.

The Freehold Township Police Department recorded the following arrests for the week of Tuesday, Feb. 8 through Tuesday, Feb. 15: 10 for shoplifting, 16 for contempt of court, and three for identity theft.

Notable Incidents

  • On Tuesday, Feb. 8, a resident from Old Mill Road reported a burglary in which jewelry and other personal items were stolen. Police officer Keith Duncan responded to the scene.
  • On Wednesday, Feb. 9, employees at STS Tire & Auto Center, 4011 Route 9 North, reported a burglary in which unknown items were taken. The store’s alarm system was triggered at 8:30 a.m.
  • On Sunday, Feb. 13, JCP&L reported the theft of copper wire valued at $1,500 from the Monmouth Road section of Route 537.
  • On Monday, Feb. 14, police investigated the burglary of $1,500 worth of copper wire from a construction site in the Wal-Mart shopping plaza at 326 W. Main Street.
