Freezing Rain Advisory in Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for much of our area until 1 p.m. 

Only a few hundredths of an inch of ice is expected to accumulate today starting with some spotty freezing drizzle early on before changing to freezing rain later. By the afternoon the precipitation is expected to be just regular rain. 

Even with just a light coating the advisory warns that untreated roads and walkways could become hazardous and travel could be difficult. The temperature today is only expected to reach into the lower 30s with a low in the 20s according to the most recent forecast.
