FTPD Help Woman Deliver Baby in Parking Lot

Asbury Park Press reports that two Freehold Township Police officers delivered a baby girl in a gas station parking lot.

Two Freehold Township Police officers took on the role of a doctor Sunday morning, as they helped deliver a baby in a gas station parking lot. 

In an article published Sunday evening by the Asbury Park Press, the newspaper reported that two officers assisted in the delivery of a baby girl at an Exxon Gas Station off of Route 9. According to the report, Officers Frank Mount and Drew Galaydick delivered the baby at 6:30 a.m. in a small black car. 

The report states that after the delivery, the family proceeded to the hospital.
