Icy Roads Close Portion of Route 34
State crews are out trying to clear the stretch of roadway.
With temperatures dipping just below the freezing mark late Sunday night, a stretch of Route 34 has been closed as crews work to take care of the icy roadway.
The Howell Police Department is reporting that the road is closed from Route 33 all the way to the Colts Neck border. With accidents being reported, crews from the state are being sent out to treat the ice.
There is no estimate for when the road will be reopened.
