Local Man Indicted on Burglary and Theft Charges

Bryan Cain of Freehold was indicted on multiple charges including burglary and credit card theft stemming from a September incident.

A Monmouth County grand Jury indicted Freehold resident, Byran H. Cain, 19, of Dickenson Court on four different counts including burglary on Jan. 4. 

According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 9 Cain allegedly burglarized a Freehold Township car and took a purse, bags, Ipod, wallet, money, sneakers, and identification card. In total, the amount of stolen property was in excess of $500.

Among the items taken from the car were credit cards that Cain allegedly continued to use in Marlboro after the burglary.

Cain has been indicted on a third-degree charge of burglary, a third-degree charge of theft of moveable property, a fourth-degree charge of credit card theft, and a third-degree charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.
