Neptune Man Indicted on Burglary Charge Involving Pepe’s Deli

The man allegedly burglarized the deli in September.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Neptune man one charge surrounding the burglary of a Freehold Deli.

Andre Walker, 31, of Chaphagen Drive, faces one burglary charge after he allegedly entered Pepe’s Deli unlawfully. According to Walker’s indictment, on Sept. 22 he unlawfully entered the deli. Court documents state that Walker entered the business with the purpose to commit an offense.

At the time of the alleged burglary, the business was closed and Walker did not have consent to be there. His charge of burglary is considered a third-degree crime.
