Parker Street Woman Accused of Car Break-In

Robyn Kelly faces charges stemming from Oct. 7 incident.

Robyn L. Kelly, 31, of Parker Street, faces charges after allegedly breaking into a vehicle on Stokes Street, according to reports. On Friday, Oct. 7 at 9:26 p.m., Patrolmen Eduardo Santana, Edward Loksa, and Richard Schwerthoffer responded to a report of a car burglary in progress at Stokes Street. The officers found Kelly engaged in an argument with the owner of the 2002 Ford Taurus, Lt. Mark Wodell said.

Police arrested Kelly and found her in possession of two hollowed glass tubes believed to be drug paraphernalia, according to Wodell. Kelly was brought to the police station, and officers discovered a portable global positioning system (GPS) on her person, the lieutenant said. The identification number of the GPS had been removed and the device was later determined to have been stolen, according to Wodell.

Kelly was charged with burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property. She was processed and sent to Monmouth County Correction Institution on $25,000 bail.
