Police Blotter: Arrests in Freehold Borough, Jan. 23-31

Arrests made by the Freehold Borough Police Department during the end of January include heroin possession and DWI.

The Freehold Borough Police Department reported the following arrests from of Sunday, Jan. 23 to Monday, Jan. 31.

  • On Sunday, Jan. 23, David O’Rourke, 29, of Freehold Township, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. At 10:24 p.m. on Broadway, police said O’Rourke was involved in a motor vehicle accident and left the scene. Patrolman Walter Perski arrested O’Rourke on Broadway as he was allegedly walking away from the accident. O’Rourke was processed and released.
  • On Tuesday, Jan. 25, Delton Nolan, 43, of Howell, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and hindering apprehension. At 2:30 a.m. on Mechanic St., Patrolman Nicholas Iozzi stopped Nolan because of suspicious behavior. Iozzi said he discovered heroin on Nolan and the accused provided him with a false name during the investigation. Iozzi discovered Nolan had outstanding warrants in Asbury Park. Nolan was processed and sent to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Bail was set at $7,500.
  • On Thursday, Jan. 27, Patrolman Sean Healey stopped a vehicle on South St. at 3 p.m. A juvenile in the car was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was processed and released to his father.
  • On Thursday, Jan. 27, Jose Garcia Perez, 29, of Freehold Borough, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Det. Chris Otlowski made the arrest at 4:45 p.m. on Jackson St. Perez was processed and released on a summons.
  • On Monday, Jan. 31, an unknown perpetrator entered an unlocked car on Park Ave. between 11:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. and took $2,000 in cash and possessions. Patrolman Diego Flores was the responding officer.
