Police: Falling Woman Injured by Lamp After Assault by Freehold Man

Harold Rosenson was charged with assault and making terroristic threats, arrest records say.

A Freehold man was arrested and charged Saturday with assault after pushing a woman to the ground and threatening more violence, Freehold Borough police said. 

Harold Rosenson, 60, was charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats after an altercation in which he pushed a woman, causing her to fall backwards and hitting her head on a lamp and a wall, according to the arrest record.

Rosenson also threatened the victim, police say.

Rosenson was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $22,500 bail. He was listed as a prisoner on Monday morning, jail records say.
