Police: Freehold Man Pointed Stolen Loaded Gun at Victim

The gun was loaded with hollow-point bullets, police say.

A Freehold Borough man is accused of pointing a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets at another person.

Nathaniel O. McDonald, 28, of Third Street was arrested in Freehold Borough on Sunday, according to arrest records. McDonald was allegedly in possession of a stolen Smith and Wesson revolver, valued at $400. According to arrest records, McDonald was ineligible to carry a weapon because of prior offenses. McDonald was arrested in 2006 on a theft charge and in 2010 on resisting arrest and drug possession charges, court documents indicate.

McDonald was charged with aggravated assault, weapons possession, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and receiving stolen property.

He was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $55,000 bail with no option to post 10 percent of the bond.

Patrolman Peter Romanski of the Freehold Borough Police Department was the arresting officer.

For those that yell about gun laws here is a prime example why they dont work!! Bad guys will always get guns and terrorize you without worrying about the laws we already have!! Forget about adding new laws and lock up this deadbeat, throw away the key, and pray he's a 3 time loser!!
