Police: Holmdel Man Punched Howell Woman During Medical Procedure

Kevin Kalkay is also accused of throwing a rock through a police patrol car window.

There are people who hate going to the doctor’s office and then there are people who really hate it.

Freehold Township police say Kevin Kilkay, 33, falls into the latter category. The Holmdel man allegedly punched a Howell woman while undergoing a minor medical procedure at Endocrinology Associates on Iron Bridge Road on Thursday morning. He then broke out the windows in the office before authorities arrived, Lt. Dean Smith said in a press release.

Kalkay allegedly threw a large rock through a patrol car window, injuring Officer Scott Deluca. When Deluca left his car, Kalkay threw another rock at him, Smith said. Kalkay allegedly picked up a large metal box and approached Deluca and Officer William Ketelaar. The officers then subdued him and took him into custody.
