Police: Pillow Thief Found With Drug Paraphernalia

A Freehold Borough woman is accused of burglarizing a residence and taking a pillow.

A Hudson Street resident allegedly burglarized a Freehold Borough home and made off with a pillow, according to an arrest warrant.

Freehold Borough police arrested Judith A. Bates, 22, who they say entered the residence through a rear window on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Bates was allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia, including syringe, rolling papers, a glass pipe and a ball of steel wool used in smoking crack cocaine, arrest records indicate. She was charged with one count of burglary. Bates also faces six disorderly persons offenses for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia and stolen property.

Bates was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $52,500 bond. Patrolman James Richmond was the arresting officer.
