Major The best part is that she supposedly filed a complaint against the officer. If that were true you and I both know it would be all over the papers considering how sensitive this town is to unjustified police complaints. Michelle if that's true PROVE IT!!! It doesn't take much to get a copy of a complaint letter if you don't already have it, You can say anything you like in this forum. Were already seeing your a liar. So PROVE US WRONG!

I know Jimmy Richmond he's much older than her, I graduated with him... she is 26 and did not, she lied.

I've been working with Captain Dispenza and Sweetman. We have met several times since Thursday the 14th. Papers have been filled out, photos submitted, now it is in their hands. Also, for everyone's information, there was a typo in the original bulletin that had come out, I graduated in 1994 from Freehold High School. So yes, I do know the majority of the PD, as we are all close in age. It is interesting that comments were made when I said "uneducated" and then put ppl. First of all, uneducated meant that the audience does not know the whole story, which makes you "uneducated" and ppl is an abbreviation. I have read many of everyone's opinions in regards to this, I'm not going to pick out each and every one of your mistakes, as they do happen.

The way I see it, the meaning of the word uneducated doesnt really change. It means not having been educated to a good standard. Those who type "ppl" generally, havent been educated to a good standard. Hence, why I said it looks funny, I didnt know I lost the entitlement of my own opinion, or that you had thin skin. Relax, everyone gets they're day in court!

I did not engage in this forum to debate, insult, or harm the people who participate in our local news, as they do have the right to their opinion. The same goes for myself, as well. I never said that you were "wrong", I simply stated that there was a typo. I do not care to air all of this dirty laundry via this forum, as there may be another "typo" or misconstrue what I say. . Personally, I could care less either way about your mistake or comment. However, I do care about myself, and resolving this matter. My objective for being involved in this forum, wasn't to proclaim my innocence. It was hopefully, to open the eyes of these participants that there is missing information. There is more than one side to a story, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. As major stated earlier, I will have my day in court.

Jim isn't going to charge you with throwing a coffee at him for no reason. You obviously don't know anything about the justice system, Craig and Mike met with you because they have to, they don't have a choice. I know every cop in Freehold Boro except for the 2 newest hires, and I don't think that any of them would risk losing their good salary or benefits for the likes of you. The only disgraceful officer from Freehold Boro, Darnell Esdaile, was fired for shoplifting from Home Depot, the rest of them are good cops, not liars.

Your above statement is ignorant. We have had SEVERAL cops over the years involved in some not so great things, child endangerment, shoplifting, guns at Jenks, just to name a few.....With that said, we have a nice group of respectable cops in the Boro. They work hard and do a great job! There is something called "human error", we all do it, mishandle something, make a poor choice. Michelle has a right to vocalize her story, especially when the above article painted a picture of her that seems very guilty. I applaud Michelle for defending herself. I hope "IF" she was handled incorrectly, or mistreated, she gets her justice. A judge will certainly hear the facts and make that decision. I don't see why your attacking her for telling her side, isn't she entitled to that as an American? And you refer to her as "the likes of you", do you know her? Do you know if she is a good person or a bad person? Again, I respect and Thank the FPD for all there hard work and excellent security the give the Boro.

Of course your innocent until proven guilty, thats the way the system is designed. However, 99 percent of those that throw anything at a cop, are found guilty!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Lisa I think I can answer that question. It's because Michelle doesn't really understand what the word restraint means. I do know for a fact that the police have been called to her address many many times over the last few years. She has a very long history with the Freehold PD. And using her hands and anything she can get them on to physically hurt someone else is not something she backs away from.. She actually sounds pretty good in some of these posts. But I wouldn't even put it past her to be high on something or other when she faces the judge.

@Innocent Bystander, maybe you should be arrested for making accusations to Mrs. Wells state of mind or if she was on something, those accusations could find you with a lawsuit! Do you know Mrs. Wells that you know for a fact the cops have been there? How do you know she uses her hands? Just because you use a name like "Innocent Bystander" little research can make it very easy to know who you really are!

Mike-I believe this person is somehow linked to FBPD. They are either a paper pusher, who sees bits and pieces, and/or maybe accesses privaledge information that shouldn't be. Maybe someone I went to school with, who is a hater, or a spouse of one of the officers. I am amazed at how people are so quick to bite on someone for a crime they don't even know how took place. Once this happens, they forget ALL the years of good you have done for the community. Did they mention how I have volunteered at the hospital for a couple of years? Reading books to the terminally ill, or elderly that may not be capable. I have also spent time playing bingo at two of the bigger nursing homes in Freehold, which I actually still do, on occasions. Do they talk about a very personal stay that I had with my daughter at Children's hospital of Philadelphia, and got involved during and after, spending fun time with the children that are so ill? I have NEVER been convicted of ANY crime, and actually,recently helped the PD with some community clean up. In any event, I think this person is miserable and bored with themselves, that they feel comfort in hashing out at someone else's defect.
How would "innocent bystander" know who called the cops from my resident? How would "innocent bystander" know I "use my hands"? How would "innocent bystander" know anything about my personal life? I think it is pathetic and sad this person doesn't find something more constructive to do.

Michelle, I agree with you 100%. I certainly don't know the facts of what happened on the date above in the article. There are only a few people that know all the facts, they are all the parties involved. With all due respect to you, if you did do any of the above listed in the article then you should face the punishment that comes with it. I am a HUGE believer in innocent until proven guilty. I was unhappy with the article because, in my opinion, it painted a picture of guilt without telling both sides, which is the medias responsibility. That is the biggest problem in America, people are TOLD by the media what to believe and we lose or own sense of making a judgement for ourselves. We become sheep to what they want us to believe.
As far as your story goes, I hope the truth comes out, regardless of what party is telling it. There are good and bad in all people, that doesn't mean cops, judges or anyone is exempt from that fact. If you were wrongly accused or mistreated, that is not ok and should be handled accordingly. Too me, innocent bystander seems like a jealous person who is hiding behind a name to attack a person as if he/she doesn't have any skeletons in his/her closet. Like i said, I don't know who is right or wrong in your situation but I can tell you innocent bystander is 100% wrong in my book. A simple click on his name, shows he has never commented on anything but your topic???? makes you think, doesn't it?

Innocent Bystander, I think you are very close to slander or libel (not sure of the difference but you get my point). Your post is not cool at all. My post was more out of frustration because I did something similar years ago to a cop and paid for it and I hate to see someone like Michelle who does seem like a nice and smart young woman have to go through the same stuff I did. I put my post harshly and that's another fault of mine sometimes. But your post Innocent Bystander is really uncalled for. Nobodys perfect and everyone makes more than one misatke in life.
