Rahway Woman Accused of Using Stolen Prescription Blank to Obtain Oxycodone

Woman allegedly attempted to get the drugs from a Freehold Township CVS.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Rahway woman on three drug-related charges following a January incident.

Valerie Scott, 48, is accused of attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud, uttering a forged instrument and receiving stolen property.

According to Scott’s indictment, she used a forged prescription blank to attempt to obtain oxycodone at a Freehold Township CVS.

The indictment further explained that Scott knew that the prescription blank used was stolen. The alleged incident took place on Jan. 2.
