Report: Freehold Township Man Arrested After Stabbing

The victim was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, according to the Asbury Park Press.

A Freehold Township man was arrested after a stabbing in a Pepperidge Court residence, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

The unnamed victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with a wound to the abdomen and went into surgery, the Asbury Park Press reported. Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, 19, was arrested on charges relating to the incident; Hale-Cusanelli resides at the Pepperidge Court home with his mother and the victim, according to the newspaper report.

Detective Sgt. Jerry Kiwit told Freehold Patch the incident was a domestic dispute and that the Freehold Township Police Department’s policy is to not comment on domestic incidents. He would not confirm the identity of the man arrested.
