Two Accused of Drug Possession Near School

Two Freehold men were found in possession of cocaine near The Learning Experience.

Freehold Township Police arrested two Freehold men after they were found in possession of cocaine near a local school.

Jorge Gillette, 53, of Windsor Drive, and Curtis Ziegler, 49, of Stonehurst Blvd., both allegedly possessed and attempted to distribute more than half an ounce of cocaine on Tuesday, Dec. 4. According to their complaint warrants, both men possessed the drug near The Learning Experience.

Ziegler faces three charges, including control with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine. In addition to those three charges, Gillette faces a fourth charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Both men have been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Ziegler’s bail has been set at $150,000, Gillettes’ bail is set at $151,000.
