Warrant Arrest Leads to Ecstasy, Steroids Possession Charges

James Sullivan was also charged with intent to distribute.

While conducting a Click It or Ticket detail on Throckmorton and Main Street on Thursday, May 26, Freehold Borough Detective John Reiff recognized a man walking down the street who he believed had an outstanding warrant. Reiff ordered a warrant check on James Sullivan, 21, of Manalapan, and discovered he had an active $500 warrant in the borough.

During the arrest, Reiff asked Sullivan is he had anything in his possession the officer needed to know about. According to Freehold Borough police reports, Sullivan told the officer he was in possession of ecstasy and steroids.

Sullivan was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and two counts of intent to distribute. He posted bail on the outstanding warrant and was released on a summons.
