Borough Council Holding Special Meeting Monday

The Freehold Borough Council is not quite ready to close the book on 2013 so one final  special meeting is scheduled to be held tonight at Borough Hall.

Set to start at 6 p.m. the agenda for the meeting includes mostly housekeeping items before the calendar turns to 2014. There is a resolution scheduled to be heard that would award a contract for the Freehold Borough Police Department to undergo an accreditation process and another for a company to conduct the county ordered property revaluation.

The council is also scheduled to welcome Nicholas Badamo as the newest member of the Freehold Fire Department as part of Monday’s meeting. They are scheduled to meet again on January 5 for the annual reorganization meeting which is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

The Freehold Township Committee has scheduled its reorganization meeting for Friday night at 6:30 at the Freehold Township Municipal Building.
