Freehold Borough Democratic Committee Seeks Council Candidate

All interested persons are invited to submit a letter of intent and supporting information by March 22, 2012.

The Democratic Chairman appointed a nominating committee to select a candidate for the office of Councilperson. 

The nominee will run with incumbent Councilperson Sharon Shutzer. Anyone interested in getting involved in local government is invited to apply for the nomination. To apply, send a letter of intent to the nominations committee with any supporting information regarding community or professional experience, activity and involvement.
 
The nominating committee is also looking to fill all County committee seats for each of the seven voting districts. One male and one female are needed for each voting district. If interested, submit your name and contact information to the address below.

The letter of intent and supporting information is due by March 22. The nominating committee will present the recommended candidate for Borough Council as well as for the voting district committee at a general meeting on March 29. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Walter J. Conley Lodge on Throckmorton Street.
